CLS Students in Turkey Visit a Retirement Home

Through their participation in cultural activities, CLS students in Bursa, Turkey had the opportunity to connect more deeply with members of the community, including residents at a local retirement home. 

This summer, CLS Bursa participants made two trips to a local retirement home to play games and converse with the residents.  After one of these visits, Bursa newspapers reported on the activity.

 “The residents, getting great satisfaction from the visit, held a long conversation with the Americans. They said that talking with the foreign students was pleasant and that the visit boosted their spirits and was also very touching,” wrote one of the newspapers.
