CLS China Students Volunteer with Kids

Carmen Trigo with some new friends.

As part of the CLS program, students in all three Chinese host cities visited a local non-profit organization or a non-governmental organization.  CLS students in Xi’an, China, visited the Baoji Xinxing Aid for Street Kids Center.  This Shaanxi-province-based organization provides shelter, medical treatment, and other care to children without homes.

CLS students participated in a day of fun and games with the children at Baoji Xinxing.  The games included a water balloon toss, a foot race, Mahjong, and origami folding, among others.  Everyone involved seem to have enjoyed the visit.

The photos were taken by CLS Xi’an Resident Director Patrick Belnap.
