CLS Azerbaijan Program Closing Ceremony

CLS students in Baku, Azerbaijan, recently finished their summer institute and headed home for the fall.  The completion of the program was marked with a closing ceremony at Azerbaijan University of Languages, where the students are studying Azerbaijani at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels.

CLS students, program staff, and representatives from the U.S. Embassy attended the event, which included a reception and speeches from the program coordinators.  One of the students, Vitaly Radsky, also played a song on a traditional Azerbaijan instrument that he learned to play during the summer.
